Red pill or blue pill? Which would you choose?

Imagine a scenario, where everything is going great for you, your life is wonderful, and then some guy offers you a choice... He knows it all, everything about your life, but he knows the truth... He offers to tell you about every aspect of your life the way it really is, or you can just keep on living and never remeber this guy (it's just like the matrix). you thought you knew everything there was to know about your life, but this guy comes in and let's you know that the world isn't as it seems, that you only know half of the story.

Would you guys sacrifice your comfort and happiness for knowledge on the truth about your life? Or would you say no and continue to live out your life, without any knowledge of this experience.
 
I'd stay ignorant and bliss...

what's the point of knowing everything in the world today? especially with people who actually think they're always right and know everything

Actually I was hit with a situation similar (ish) to this whole red pill blue pill thing a few days ago, and was wondering how other people thought

This is what I was thinking. If you don't know, and you aren't hurt by not knowing, then what is the point in knowing if it's only going to negatively effect you?
 
What do you mean by "aspects of your life"?? What kind of stuff are we talking about here...

You say that you will sacrifice comfort and happiness for knowledge but who says those 2 are excludent.

Idk, I was thinking just basic things in your life not being as they seem. Like, your wife has been cheating on you and you had no idea what so ever, your good paying enjoyable job is at the expense of brutally exploiting 3rd world labor, but maybe there could be other realities you wouldn't know and would find beneficial to know.. I don't know it was more of "would you risk it/ignorance is bliss?" Kind of question
 
I sure would regret not getting the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I feel as though our understanding as a race is pretty narrow compared to the universe anyways but that's why we got science.
