Great mountain but i sure wish there was somewhere to park. Only Shitlode is open and the lots are already full. i guess building condos in the parking lots wasnt a very good idea after all.................but i suppose the people in the condos dont have to drive do they
 
Not all of the lots are plowed yet, there are about 60 extra spaces unplowed on the lower lot. But yeah, the parking is going to be an issue no matter what if we had the condos there or not. I know that the development people are working out a solution to the issue, including lots across the highway with a shuttle loop.

I never noticed the lot being completely full today - did you come up today or yesterday?
 
i was up both days but doesnt seem weird to drive for less than 5 minutes from town just to catch a shuttle
 
there really is no good excuse as to why you'd move a parking lot across the highway...

but since we're hating on red - it was pointed out to me today that in replacing the silverload, they effectivly took out the only life that didin't break down... does that make sence? i sence that hating on silverload is going to be a trend... well, when hating on red, there's always something to talk about.
 
maybe that should have been something to consider.

It isnt a far walk from the condos to lift. i suppose that is all that matters
 
poor red mountain is getting shit all over... and the new quad is very slow and frustrates me to no end. i would have very much prefered them to keep the old lift even though that would mean forcing all the tourists to ski all the way around the big scary granite mountain to get to their family friendly trails.
