It is about a five hour drive fron jackson. Go through Yellowstone National Park, then out the northeast entrance, through Cooke City, then on to Red Lodge.

Info is on the home page of newschoolers. THe Beartooth Open. Entry fee is $35 Prizes from Da Kine, Jackson Hole, Freeskier, Smith, Volkl/Technica, Red Bull, and local contributers.

Cash prizes will depend on entrys

There will be a live DJ during the comp.

If you need lodging, let me know. I can hook up rooms with Hot Tubs for $60 a night

 
Oh yeah,

Lift tickets are $35 bucks, I'm working with the owners to get an entry fee/ticket package.

Spectators can drive to the glacier and hike for a good view. Or you can sit at home and cry that your not there.

Would anybody compete in a 'big mountain' division

It would be cornice drop into some chutes then come blazing into the terrain park.

Let me know soon if you need a room. There is also good free camping at the base of the pass.

My mom should be there. she's nasty on the sticks.

Gt and Mercon, Woods and Crighton will be up there filming with TGR. I'm not sure if they will stick around for the comp. Tanner Hall and glen plake will be there, but I'm not sure if they will throw down. Definatley not plake, but it would be cool if he did.
