Recommend me some ski socks

yo what socks are people rocking these days?

the only ski socks I have are the socks my Mum bought for from a supermarket 8 years ago so it's time I replaced them.

Let me know below which ones are most affordable. Also recommendations for thermals would be appreciated.

smartwool makes a 'Slopestyle' sock that I found on sale one time and stocked the fuck up. Honestly they can't be too drastically different than their normal pairs but they seem to fit really well in my boot, yet have extra padding/support around your shins and ankles. I'm a fan, but they're definitely not the most affordable option hahah

8 years ago......?

The smart wool stuff is pretty good. Buy yourself a pair or 2 and they will last. Thin and warm which in the end when boot fitting is what you want. Spend the extra couple bucks for comfort.

We definitely recommend spending a couple extra dollars on nice ski socks, your feet will thank you, and they'll likely last you a couple seasons, unless your skiing hundreds of days a year.

The Smartwool PHD is kind of the "standard," but there are more other high quality socks out there nowadays.

Check out all of our ski socks.

Darn Tough

I concur on this. I have a few pairs and you can select by the warmth of the socks, and they also have ones with padding for the front of your shins. Most of their socks are a merino wool mixture. Really nice and warm imo

Check out Sierra TJ Maxx Marshalls etc. also Ross dress 4 less for deals on the socks mentioned above. I like the thinner versions. The smartwools don't seem to smell as much. I like the smartwool compression ski socks the best right now.

Buy some quality socks for crying out loud. They last 3 times as long as crappy socks, don't smell as much, keep you warmer, and have a better fit. Get wool. If you get a thinner, race fit ski sock is not thick enough for your boot, your Full Tilts are too fucking big for your feet.

Good lord. This is skiing 101. Learn it.

Well duh Merino Wool... but like stance or smartwool and probably smartwool. Get light ski socks to you don't need some thicc sock just get light ones your boots keep your feet warm. Phd light are my favorite.

thanks everyone for your replies. I'll def take a look into the socks you've recommended
