Recommend me a DV cam...

Hey im getting a digi cam soon...liek with in a month and i was wondering what would be the best bang for my buck...Im gunna spend like $900 or mabey $1000 (canadian) i was thinking the the canon ZR-40 cause i dont need the shitty digital still cam fromt he ZR-45....or i was thing the JVC 320...or some other suggestions would be very swell of you folks..thanks

i dont know what these are in canadian but the Sony dcr-trv 27 is nice..and the trv-50..um..dcr-vx2000 is REALLY nice but really expensive..its about 2400 in american..i dont know about canadian..and those are all sonys up there..the canon GL-1 is ill...the Canon ZR 50 MC is nice..um...almost all canon and sony digis are nice...just givin suggestions...

after doing extensive research and reading detail review...it think i might go with JVC DV320

its a pretty sick cam....i found a bunch of macro lenses and shit for it soo it hink im gunna snatch that one up...if theres any reason i shouldnt tell me...

I have the JVC and it works really well. Very sturdy too, I carried it around in my pack all year in Whistler and had no problems. It's super easy to find filters and lenses for it too, I would suggest getting a good wide angle as soon as you can. Plus it's got a built in light and other nifty stuff.

 
i posted a reply in the other post, but i would say in the sub 1000 dollar range jvcs are the best, but above that sony and canon dominate, i took sony vx2000 over gl1. but yeah i dont know the specifics on the JVCs, but they are your best bet in that ranges.

I really want the GL1 but its not gunna happen i might get it down the road but this cam i just to start me off anf get a feel for how to use it on the comp and shit...

but yeah i'm gunna get the JVC i think....i've been calling around for prices and shit....so yeah...

i just dont like JVC...its not my camera though soo go ahead!!...i still would consider a sony..
