if you dont want to spend much money and your going to beat the fuck out of them then just buy some used skis online for cheaper. just get ones with good edges and bases. you'll be saving yourself a lot of money. you 5'10'' but how much do you weigh? maybe around 179's?

if your tight for cash, I just got 07 tm's for really cheap online. The el ray is designed to be any entry level twin, so it might not be the best choice, it depends on how hard your gonna ski
