Reasons why I hate my mountain.

id love to ambush their beloved race territory and destroy their perfectly carved out turns with 50 other park skiers and see how it makes them feel. maybe that will open their eyes. such jagoffs.

I understand the OP as it is annoying to have to avoid those kids in the park, but its part of skiing, I remember when I was one of those kids.

But this post is the one I agree with the most, and pretty much why I don't go in the park (and my knees can't take it to much anymore at 24 to much football/skiing) I'm "oldschool" anyways I still think 2's on and out are sick tricks, and nothing like a floaty 540 tail grab. Us "older" guys will rip through the rails once and while after some beers and you'll hear comments like that all the time. I don't get it, just go out and have fun and do your thing, whether that's ripping straight down groomers or tossing double flips off 80' tables. Just have fun.

I was at the springs like a week ago. Saw a little 5 year old gaper in the middle of the landing looking back up at the jump. Then saw these two kids launch massive 180s straight to the gucci plateau right over the gaper. The gapers face was the funniest thing i've seen in a while.

The thing is it is not the same. They pay a fee every year to be on the race team and race team gets their private space on the hill.

The park is open to everyone at the hill (maybe a $10 park pass). Would you want to start paying an additional large cost added on to your season pass to ski park or be on a park team? I know I would much rather deal with people who don't belong in the park. They arn't that hard to avoid either, you just have to be a little more patient and wait till it looks clear. My hill shares the park with a beginner slope so I am used to little kids being everywhere. The best thing to do is talk to the parents in a calm way explaining why it is dangerous, a lot of parents then understand.

I don't have much patience I can admit that. My friends and I like to hit the features in a line in a nice flow. The other day I had to get in line behind a race team so they can hit lips to rails in between practicing turns. It is not like they wait for you, one dude hit the right side of the lip at the same time I was coming from the left. This is a screen shot of the trail map attached to the picture of group of racers above. They were at the bottom of South where the trail map explains the rest:

A whole peak that is 100% park? Holy shit that sounds amazing. Stop complaining, Im sure you can still get some sick hits in.

You've obviously never skied creek. Not even close to 100% park. Out of all those trails 5-7 at peak season have any features on them. Primarily fat boxes and down boxes

Quick update: Our "big" park just opened up and to prove my point it doesn't do shit besides attract more little kids because the features are bigger.

I saw a racer bomb into a jump the other day while I was skiing with Frenchy. Kid obviously had no idea what he was doing and in the air started to sit down and took it about 20' PAST where it turns to flat. Took a 20-25' jump like 60 feet. It was Lols cause he cut some kids off on the way.
