I am sure that others have voiced their dissapointment with PoorBoyz new movie but I had to take the opportunity and say that it was super lame. Way too much filler. The only positive thing in the movie was a decent soundtrack including Sigur Ros and Radiohead. If you are only gonna buy a few videos this year make sure this one is not on your list.
 
Yeah I wasn't a big fan either, but the Quebec urban, Andreas' all four 10's, Tim Durtschi, and Japan segments were bueno.ew
 
WRONG! The vibe, the flow of this movie is amazing. Incredible. If you are a true seasoned skier, you will have respect for this movie. Sammy Carlson to Bob Marley, nuff said
 
zomg. gangsta is played, emo is played, rap is played, indie is played, techno is played, punk rock sucks, rasta is played, SKIING IS PLAYED!!!!11!!one!!!!

 
hardly....tanner is about the only one who uses reggae constantly, and his soundtracks sound familiar cause its the same artist (not saying they're bad, i love them). so mixing it up with some different reggae is great
 
I've heard lots of mixed reviews about Reasons. Im really not sure whether or not to get it haha, but the soundtrack seems awesome.
 
it's in a bunch of movies this year, and most of the songs are too mellow IMO, tanner's actually better with it, most have big beats in his movies. just cause i song is good to listen to, doesn't mean it goes well with skiing.
 
If poorboyz combined all their movies into one film of awesomeness, like ReasonsJournalJibjamHuntingyetti style that would be one hell of a film
 
How about some modern classical? Kerry Muzzey, Nobuo Uematsu, CLINT MANSELL (requiem for a dream)
 
i felt like i was wathcing jon's videoblog and event reruns... i found myself getting bored, but durtchi, andreas dubs, spriggs, and the urban were sick
 
It was really long, but you gotta admit there was a lot of bangers, just watch my segment then put it away n go ski.......BITCH Most rotations 9 n over in the bc, best movie of the year!!!!!
 
well yea for sure, but good songs can also be great songs for segs. i love reggae with pow segs, for example rainville uses sizzla super dope in his segments. but yeah i could see how it could get played
 
It's all opinion. For me, it blew my mind and every segment was amazing. I pre-ordered it as soon as I got home from the premier.
 
They also used a foo fighters song for a JOI part, I just found it to be a little repetitive. Maybe i'm just a nostalgiac sp? guy but happy dayz and 1242 were the best to date.
 
This is supposed to be a good thing? No, no bragging rights associated with spinning more and faster in the BC- unless you're travis rice doing double corks over 150ft gaps. Me, I'd rather watch the Nimbus crew do stylie 3s and 5s this BIGNIG guy spinning "Most rotations 9 n over in the bc." Sorry, just my opinion.
 
Boring. I practically fell asleep while watching it at IF3. It had some cool shots, but it didn't even come close to deserving all the glory it has somehow managed to achived.
 
OH MY GOD REASONS SUCKED SO BAD IT WASN'T PARK SHOT AFTER PARK SHOT OF THE SAME TRICKS....i hope you caught the sarcasm...the movie was soooo good. Pollard, durtchi, sammy, the opening segment of JP and Chris pow skiing was sooooooo rad. It made me want to go ski soooo bad. Reasons and Turbo=amazing movies that all must see...sorry if you didn't like it...your missing out
 
surprisingly i loved it. hated all the teasers, hated yeah dude and ski porn.
Definetly my favorite poorboyz movie i thought.
 
There's a HUGE difference between Marley than guys like Kya Bamba, Cali P, and Turbulence
 
why bother telling you if youre just going to talk shit on anything pbp ever does. go see the movie for yourself.. with an open mind.. i dare you..
 
woo landis, when we hit played, lux aeterna is where its at. remixes of that are everywhere and it was in a ski movie within the last 2 years. i think ssd?
 
i would say the only bad part was the reused hunting yeti footy. but other than that dope movie.
 
i was almost blacked out at the show last night, but im pretty sure it was a song from "in rainbows." thats really all i can tell you.

i liked the movie alot. the japan pow seg was cream 'o the crop
 
eeh I dont know what "ssd" is, but I was referring to his OTHER works instead of that incredibly overused song.

The Fountain soundtrack is amazing as well. A little slow for skiing though...
 
exactly. think about the concept people. i dont think you know how hard it is for a filmmaker to take a concept like "reasons" and apply it to a ski film. Reasons was an amazing film and a progression in the industry.
 
ssd as seven sunny days but now that i thought about it i think actaully was the intro to push. not the bike part but right after that. its not a big deal though.
