Really Saga!? (Callout)

So about 2 months ago I won an Instagram contest for a Coaches Jacket on @awsm_austin 's account. I messaged him on his Instagram 2 weeks after I won with absolutely no response. I then sent an e-mail to contact@sagaouterwear.com a week after that. It seemed as though I'd get the jacket, but 2 weeks later, nothing. I just feel as though Saga is ignoring me :(. Long story short, after many attempts to see if I am actually receiving this jacket, I am pretty stumpted. I love Saga and buy a lot of my ski gear from them, but really.?

Honestly dude, I don't blame them for not treating your free jacket with priority. You're not a paying customer, so you can afford to sit on the back burner for a few. It sucks they aren't really holding up their end, but it is a very busy part of the season for selling/shipping out outerwear. Like they give a fuck about your free jacket.
 
Did you pm their ns account? Idk who runs it be they always seem to be really helpful to people and get shit done

I feel like priority isn't the main issue here it's doing a PR move and not following through on it, which isn't a good look at all.

Saga has one of the best customer service in the game.

Whoops. Looked like this one slipped through the cracks during all the pre-order/holiday shipping bustle. We're on it.
 
NS has brought such a unique level of accountability to the ski industry, unlike any other industry I can think of, having all parts (consumers, companies, professionals, etc.) concentrated into one forum. Granted some members handle it poorly on here, flaming companies out before they've even tried to contact them, it's cool to see when it works out.

yay! saga's on the job.

this is the good thing about call-outs. they hold people accountable, and most people need the kick in the arse if they let things slip that are decidedly unimportant (or simply difficult to keep track of).

I LOVE SEEING SOLUTIONS AND NOT JUST A WORLD FULL OF PROBLEMS.

Agreed. It's definitely unique. It's awesome to have a thread about the Dew Tour and people are wondering what happened to Laker and he'll chime in, or there will be a call out about how everyone's spinning 9's and Oscar will chime in and say naw not quite (not what he said but you know...). It's cool to see.

Why I love NS and the ski community.

Holds a contest (which is sick) giving out free gear. Makes honest mistake, then the winner and the company can come together in one place to sort shit out. Don't see that in the surf,skate or any other community.

Why are the most annoying people and the biggest pain in the asses always the ones the company tries to do something cool for? This is why some companies rarely give out free shit, because it always bites them in the ass down the road.

2 weeks and you didn't get your free shit so you feel the need to bother everyone running the show? Show some patience you ungrateful piece of gaper trash. I win free shit all the time and it always takes a month or two for my sweet prizes to arrive. Unfortunately people receiving free gear for no reason at all take a backseat to the paying customers who paid to get their gear in two weeks because they PAID MONEY... revolutionary concept, I know.
