An ad for Getboards.com?

With half of the members whove tried to use getboards and had a shitty experience (myself included), you would think an ad like this wouldnt be allowed.

Im sorry for the stupid thread, or if its already been made. I was just a little confused and annoyed.
 
Getboards have an advertising deal with NS. I haven't dealt with them personally in recent times, but they have certainly picked up their game compared to past reviews a few years ago though.
 
pretty sure that is way too high of an estimate... I've dealt with them probably 6 times and never once had a problem. If they were that bad, how could I have had 6 fast and perfect orders? Plus I have lots of friends that have gone through them and never had a problem, so that's like at least another 10 orders. Hating on GetBoards.com is old... they never were that bad, it was just blown completely out of proportion. And like Slience said, they've gotten even better the last few years and deserve some respect. They're legit in my opinion.
 
i dont see what the huge deal with getboards is. iv dealt with them 6 or 7 times this past year and its been on time perfect condish,(cept the box, its reused haha) and i have found nothing wrong with them, emailed them to see if they shipped my movie got an answer back the next day.
 
Everybody needs to quit bitching about the ads! That's how NS makes revenue. Deal with it. Or get Ad blocker and make em go away.
 
i dont care about the fact that there are ads on ns. i just felt that enough nsers have had poor experiences with getboards that the staff of ns wouldnt give them the chance to advertise.
 
This is fucking genius on getboards' part. If an item is the same price on Get Boards as on EVO or Backcountry, which store will the kid buy from? The one that he sees supporting NS. I see nothing wrong with this at all. Quit bitching and I don't want to see anymore threads about ads.
 
getboards is so fucking legit now, new management.. if i remember, it was last summer.. quit your bitching
 
And lots of members have had great experiences with them, though as usual it is the poor experiences that get vocalized more. They approached us for advertising and we gave them the same chance we give other companies. We are stoked that more industry companies are realizing the potential that advertising with NS can give them, and we thought you would be happy to see some ski related ads!
 
honestly i wont be surprised this winter with "DUMONT DOUBLE PITS TO CHESTY"

but yeah i didnt like the ads, but i could care less, it helps the site.. 12 year olds dont understand the value of money, so they wouldnt get it
 
a 19 year old made this thread, and I only complained about one ad. i fully understand why we have ads and that they help keep ns getting better every day. I guess I am the only one who really still hates getboards.

We can let this thread die, or the next mod who reads it can delete it. Thanks for the discussion.
 
Well quit giving a fuck about how Getboards chooses to spend their money. I'll take a Getboards ad any day over an Axe ad. They are helping the community of skiing by doing this, they are giving back. Why not advertise on here, it is the BEST possible place to advertise your online store.
