what if newschoolers made it an option for users to pay for a less compressed video, like 5 bucks or something for a video with not much compression, that would be so dope
 
I mean, that's not really how it works. A video is compressed more not because it costs more, but to maximize the experience for the user.
 
NS compression is not a big deal, quality is fine at 1080. Not to mention then you're talking really high bitrates for non-compressed videos and you just can't stream that kind of video, especially if your internet provider isn't that quick.
 
so that means compression is about how big the file size is? Or the 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 thing? Im sure I could find this out on google I just feel like discussing

like this vid looks so good before it hits the web but then it starts banding like a motherfucker
