I know not many us are snowboarders, I'm not, but just like I love watching the real ski edits, the past years real snow edits go hard as fuck too. This year there are three full edits of backcountry (and even fucking resort clips) ONLY. Not a single urban shot in sight, let a lone a fucking rail being slid. WHAT THE FUCK? Sure X-games changed the format and allowed basically any clips the athletes want, but this is insane. 1) why are athletes submitting edits without ANY urban into a historically urban only competition. 2) X-games youtube account is clapping back in comments that they changed the format so its fine there are no urban clips in 3/6 of the submitted edits. Nobody cares that you changed the format, that doesn't mean the people that love watching real ski/snow want you to remove urban. Im sure its about money and fan base/audience, but give me a fucking break.
 
xgames real ski/snow is dead, xgames will always put on a top tier slope/pipe/big air event but they have completely ruined their brand by bowing to an energy drink sponsor.

It's called real snow/ski not real urban. What's it matter what they ride, the whole idea is to compare different riding styles of people in their natural element.

oh my god just shuuuuut it. Snowboard Real Snows were incredible and everything about the contest is sick. Dont like it? Go watch the Real Ski, plenty of street in there.
