The worst damage on the bike is chain rub, it is mint. Probably going to put the effort in to part it out soon since I'll get way more that way. Sadly people are so obsessed with the new sam hill version of the demo that they count this model out, which is foolish it still rides better than most 2012/13 frames out there and is a fraction of the cost at $2,100 fully built.

On that note, if anyone here spots any parts on this they want make an offer.
 
Heard that. I knew as soon as Turner changed the DHR frame my resale value was f'ed. The funny thing is the newer Demos have to be ridden more aggressively to really perform whereas the older models are a little more maneuverable... in other words, you've really gotta be able to ball to make the new Demo work and odds are a lot of the people fawning over it can't.

What are you eyeing anyway? Go Ride has a fully stocked M9 for a pretty stupid price that I've been drooling over. I'm racing Sea Otter in April so need to figure my shit out soon.
 
I can only afford one nice bike this year, so I'm thinking the banshee rune. Undecided between 650b or 26, but it's nice and slack and beefy so I figure I could still ride empire and stuff like that no problem, but at just over 30 lbs I can use it for XC rides to. My currently XC ride is beat after 4 seasons on it, and can't afford a new DH and XC bike. I guess the smart thing would be to just build a new XC bike and keep the demo, but I really don't like XC enough to spend thousands on a strictly XC bike. Basically my goal is to create the perfect bike for the whole enchilada, which I think the rune 650b would be.
