*kindait only works when nothing is on it, but imagine if people can get more funding and can make this thing ridable, that would be amazingHOVERBOARD - NILS GUADAGNIN from nils guadagnin on Vimeo.

Fucking amazing. The only two things I want out of the future are a flying car and a rad hoverboard that actually works, like that dude in Final Fantasy 8 had.

Hmmmm....I never really thought about that. That would be sort of weird because you wouldn't actually be touching snow like it would be super smooth. IDK, I'd settle for rocket skis like that youtube video someone posted last week, but more flames like jet flames coming out of a massive turbine making me go like 100mph.

I disagree. There was plenty of interest in this tetris exercise bike from the public. This company (I cant recall if off of the top of my head but PM me if you really care and i will get it for you) received a limited budget and even had a patent on the system and it still did not take off. My point being, it all comes down to funding

Yeah but wouldn't it be like too easy because you would just be hovering anyway? When I say legit hoverboard I'm talking hovering at least......8 feet off the ground here.

that was fucking lame as hell. havent they been able to make a hover board out of a couple vacuum motors that can actually lift a person?

in 6th grade i made a hoverboard out of a round piece of plywood, an inflatable shower curtain for the bottom, and a shop vac. but the shape of his is total different, this had like a 4 feet diameter and you could sit on it. it would be sick to be able to ride one like a skateboard.

Yeah back to the future is cool and all, whatever. The one in Final Fantasy 8 goes way faster, hovers way higher off the ground, and I won't be satisfied with a hoverboard till it goes fast like at least 25-30mph. The one in back to the future would still be pretty weak.

You need to just face the fact that you lost. And "The one in back to the future would still be pretty weak." You're just digging the stupid hole deeper.

So in china they already have trains that do this....it's not like this is a really meaningful project or something, it's just an art project.

Besides that, Tom Wallisch already has one working. U don' t watch Joss?!?
