re usability for songs

what do you guys/ladies think about using songs already in any form of video. be it feature films, ski, board, skate, blade, bike... watever... i know its hard to find original shit and to know every song that has been used, but some of the more obvious ones shouldn't be used, and it's been said a million times, but it still happens. thoughts?

Its really weak to use songs for more than one thing. Although sometimes people dont know that stuffs been used.

well, for example... pep's part in 1242 is clubbed to death by rob d... first of all famous for rodney mullen in round 2: rodney vs daewon, ALSO after that was used as the matrix theme... i was pretty dissapointed to hear taht was used.

and its alright to use a song from a couple years ago i think, as long as its used well.

just dont overuse songs like with swollen members
