i ride the this ski and pending on how much u have to spend because these are only about 300 i would just save up for the motherships/ pro modle or even get a pair a public enemys. the maveric is ok for a begginer but its not durible for shit. next year im getting ar5's thats the way to go

 
if your looking for long term go for either Head mad trixs, or Dynastars Trouble Makers, i ride T.M.s and i love em to death and are working great for me and my brother has had his Head;s for like a year or two and both are holding up great, but i personally love my TM's. read reviews and come on, Dumon, Crichton and so many more cant be riding shitty skis
