ya, i think u where referign to my review on in the haze, and its all true, the only thing i thought the movie was lacking was location, i fond lots of the same jumps, u guyz probibly noticed it, but just trying to give u a hand on what i thought needs inproovment for next years vid. good job guyz later,

Ok jeff here is my bottom line honest opinion. The music sucks. I fell asleep watching it (albeit i was stoned). It was too slow and uneventful. BUT here is the good side. You are a master in the editing department. You had quality angles and superb shots. The WSI video was killer. I think i was just expecting your video to be more upbeat, a little more hiphop infuluenced. PLease dont take this as an insult cuz its not. I want to do more work with you this year, maybe a little travel or go deeper into the backcountry. But still you and your company is young, and you got the skillz...Look at the progression of johnny d...his early shit doesnt even compare to now...keep up the good work.

the music is the best yet from any ski movie i've ever seen its so relaxing to watch, its just like royalty in a way its just nice and smooth, no hard hard rap beats, no really jittery punk, its like this i dunno music that i've never heard before its perfect though, its also realy nice because its not tanner hall, blah blabh names names names names, its not the huge list, its really nice to see all these different styles, anyways its a kick ass movie

Yah totaly cool. All I can really say next years movie will be a different film, the quality will be alot different and pretty good. Film as in 16mm, super 8 and digi, angles will be even sicker, msuic will be different from this year even always changing. Riders and riding and shit we cant speak of right now will be all of a 'high' quality. More news will come out soon....y

And Yah Andy, Tyler and Grant are working closely with me this season.

please don't over use those dissolves, you have creative shots, now come up with creative transitions for those nice shots instead of copping out with a dissolve.

I just saw it today and it was pretty good. It was cool to see some people from this site rippin it up. Nice work everyone who made that film happen.

Don't think just jump.

 
First:

The music/soundtrack was mediocre. Definetly would've been better had the sound been mastered better. In my opinion! It seemed really quiet and the music you chose you want to be powerful and up front. On the other hand, I'm not really a fan of that style of music so my critique on that is bias. However, with a few more viewings, it'll grow on me! Definetly like how it wasn't music yanked from a slew of other videos like most ski movies do! Props on that! And keep the music underground. It is always a bonus to get good video, plus discover a new group or band. (the bonus to skate videos)

Second:

Location, location, location. Like the above comment, I agree there was not enough different hits. However, I understand why. $$$$$. Totally understandable. In time gentleman!

Third:

All those shots from underneath the rider, standing on the hit, make me dizzy. You lose track of what the skier is pulling and it just gets confusing. If you watch a PBP vid or even Mack Dawg, Robot Food, etc. they do the same thing but with a different technique, or most likely a better wide angle lense. At least in their shots, you can tell what is going on. Something to think about anyways!

Fourth:

It will only get better! I look forward to next years vid. For the price you can't go wrong people, pick it up! It is 45 mins approx. of riding for like 17$ or something???? How can you go wrong?

Muldoon's part was dope!

Oh yeah! And the B&W was super dope bros! Keep it up! Props!

all i have to say is if you film more in the winter it will be better. but in the haze was great. a HUGEHUGEHUGE improvement over evolution. i cant wait to see your next film. oh and i really liked the music

go small it does not hurt as much
