Damn right we get no respect...snowboarders always talk shit about skiers until we school them in the park...so my advice is...school them in the park and we'll start getting respect...but dont be a little bitch about it or we'll get it worse...there's more of them, so we have to be smart about how we try to get more respect...that's my 2 cents

 
us skiers at my park always get hella respect....everybody's on an equal playing field no matter what u ride. the only peeps that trash skiers are the ones that suck and they dont matter anyway.

are people (both skiers and snowboardrs) really that sheltered where you guys live? I mean seriously - the skiers and snowboarders even get along in Ontario now, I thought the whole stupid rivalry thing was done and over with.

yea at my park its the same way - everyones cool we all hang on the mt then go party together afterwards - its all about havin fun and goin big

 
at my hill me and my friends rip up the park and dont really talk to the snowboarders...but we can hear them talkin shit about us...like this one time my friend just skied up and hit an 's' rail and totaly cleaned it, while these snowboarders were hiking it all day trying to clean it...and after my friend hit the rail all the boarders were like 'hey, look at the gay ass skier' 'rails are easy shit on skis' etc. so my friend just cleaned it again and rode out fakie giving the boarders the 'suck it'

and cedric - when you came you encountered the small few boarders who are asses... there's only one snowboarder who still hates skiers at blue - Stirsky! but everyone hates Stirsky (skiers, snowboarders, his boss, his friends, the resort owners, and probably his mother too)... Blue Mountain started getting friendly mid-last year and by the end of this year we were just sessioning and building shit togeahter - there's still making fun of skiers, but it's usually doug and i who make fun of the skiers... dan takes part the odd time...

i've dealt with enough shit from snowboarders because i used to be one. trust me, the shit between skiers and snowboarders is done. unless of course the snowboarders are just beginners that think they're the shit! skiers and snowboarders that can hold their own get along now!

we all ride the same snow whether it be on one board or two so drop the whole argument!

I've never had a snowboarder that's actually any good talk shit to me, which makes it very easy to school the shit out of the ones that do talk shit.

Unfortunatley, most of the snowboarders at the central terrain park suck major asss, so there is still a whole lot of unnneccessary shit talking.

I'm as close to god as you'll ever get....
 
most of the people i ride with are boarders, theyre pretty cool, i dont get even that much respect from skiers

Where I live I always get respect from all the snowboarders beacause I am the only skier rotating over jumps and sliding rails. They think its impossible to do tricks on skis or something, its really nice. Thats one of the only good things about skiing all the shitty hills in the midwest!

yeah at my park we dont really get to much respect..and yeah i read that magaize cause my snowboarder friend had it and he said theres so much skier bashin in the bags...but whatever...they cant bash ya when you goin bigger than them

Theres always going to be people who don't know shit, skiers and snowboarders, anyone who is goo knows man, if they talk shit on you there a good chance they don't knwo and they're not very good.

 
oh, and snowboard magazines kick ass... snowboard canada is about as thick (if not thicker than a phonebook (not like, T. phonebook, but you get the idea)
