Re-purchasing Bluray Versions of DVD's

Do you guys think it's worth it to buy the same movie in Bluray if you already own it in DVD format? Only thinking about doing it for some of my favorites, but not sure if it's worth the cash. Some movies I notice the benefits of bluray more than others so I'm torn.

Blu ray is extremely good quality though, far more so than torrents. Sure torrents are still 1080p but there's far more to quality than resolution, virtually every torrent has really shitty blacks and loads of colour banding due to compression (same applies to legal downloads too, they compress the fuck outta them too).

If I really want good quality I sort the torrents by size and take the biggest.
