RE mounting

i had a pair of skis and i took the bindings off of the skis to sell them. i am selling them to a kid who is going to re mount them with his bindings and a bigger size boot .is it possible to re mount those skis with bigger boots or could they not be drilled into again and would they still be efficient if so.

just make sure to fill in the previous holes with glue or something so the core doesnt rot
