Ok so just yesterday I got 2011 rossignol s4s with 2012 look pivot 14s. For boots the rossignol Experience Sensor 130 2012. On a scale 1-10 how legit is the setup? Just wondering

Well, I believe I spoke too soon. I thought the S4 was a non early rise ski. My mistake. After doing some research they look pretty sick. All though did you get them in a 174 cm?

Awesome call man. Definitely run longer with early rise. I think your gonna be stoked on those. Tear it up this season!

The S4 doesn't have early rise.

However, it's a SUPER sick ski, tons of fun, pretty stiff, but still fun on rails, carves great, really light, and tons of pop (lots of camber gives it that).

Rossi put the "rocker" profile on all their skis last year under the stats page, which confused a lot of people, including many shops (and honestly, myself as well until I actually saw the skis). I have seen (and ridden) the 2011 S4 and I can assure you, there is no rocker, and tons of camber.

Rossi has put out this graphic to describe their skis profiles this year, it's much easier to understand:

The S4 (renamed back to the Scratch this year) falls under the "Power Turn" profile (see the "technologies" section of this page: http://www.rossignol.com/US/US/scratch_RA1MW01_product_ski-men-skis-freestyle.html )
