I'm kind of just hoping they chill the fuck out. Apparently everyone within 100 yards has at least one dog. A few are pretty mellow but they all set each other off and it's fucking annoying.
Also at the end of the week or next week I'm switching to grave shift so I'll be sleeping days. Going to have to go ear plugs between the dogs, and the poorly built structure I live in.
Might buy one of those old school alarm clocks just to make sure I can here it. I hate rocking ear plugs when relying on an alarm. But that's going to be a guarantee.
Idk. IT's all good. I can deal with it, pretty easy going. It just gets annoying. At least my direct neighbors on either side don't have dogs. Walls are paper thin.

Total privilege post. My parents back in the day told me they would match 50% of what I put into retirement. Little did they know I've actually been living comfortably enough to max out my 401k contributions. So I can't blame them for not keeping their word with that and I've never really brought it up because I feel like I don't need their money and I want them to retire. But they made the mistake of telling me they donated $15k to a boys choir in like England or some shit. Also fine, but I also told my dad about bitcoin a year ago around the time they donated that money and he shrugged it off saying it was a bad investment and a bubble. Well fuck, if he would have just put a portion of that 15k into bitcoin instead... I don't know if I should tell my parents how they fucked up or if that will just create more doubt in their life. Also we got a financial planner and she convinced my wife to not invest any money until she has 8 months of savings in a bank saving account. Look what the stock market and bitcoin has done since then.. I hate these old school financial planners. So it's ok to assume me and my wife couldboth lose our jobs for 8 months and not be able to sell any of the assets we have, but I'm a crazy prepper for buying gold and silver? f'k that

At least I tripled up on silver 8 or 9 years ago. Did the same thing though. Told a bunch of people about it when it was 10.17 it eventually got up to 26 within a few years. I sold all mine by low 30s though. Ended up needing to replace an engine in my car and I had done alright.

I also live in a town where 45% of people are Mormon (I was raised Mormon, some of family/best friends are Mormon), 45% hate the Mormons, then you have 10% of people who are actually chill. Some of the Mormons really are annoying and hypocritical, but hating on them isn't going to resolve a damn thing. It just makes it worse. Then I have "friends" who are chill with mormons, but they've started doing fucking coke and meth. WHAT THE FUCK?!
Is it really so hard to find people that dont do coke/meth, don't hate everyone, actually recognize what you do for them, and aren't lazy as fuck?
I realize why I don't have friends here. It's because

So one of my homeboys from my class in school dropped off about 4 years ago. People thought he was going schizophrenic or something and he told most of my friends including my wife to fuck off and not talk to him. At that point he had some money saved up and he bought a car and disappeared. Duded showed back up a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like he's been living out of his car and occasional hotels since we saw him last and had been doing less and less frequent programming consultant work off and on. Sounds like he hasn't worked in a long time now and he's really hard up. I really want to help the guy but I've got my own issues and my wife understandably doesn't want him to use our address or anything. I can help him with a little cash but that's not sustainable. Fucking bummer to see someone struggling and not know what to do.

P1) Why do massive mountain not uses the PEEP's system to keep people out of the parks that don't belong there. It would be safer for everyone if the parks were left to those who are hitting features and knowing the proper signs and signals for when features are safe to hit or not safe to hit.

I bought a pair of FT classics 2 years ago thinking they'd be a worthy investment and they'd last for years. Well since then I've had probably only 10 days on them, just barely broke them in, and 2 buckles have broken. When I put them to a tighter setting as soon as I latch the buckle down they just skip right back to the loosest setting. It's the top buckle and the toe buckle both on the right boot so I have one boot now that's just super loose. I'm out of the 1 year warranty so I'm basically fucked into spending $40+ on new buckles.
Bought a vacuum, broom, and mop today so I could clean my shithole of an apartment.
What kind of wooks don't own any of the above in a place they've been living semi long term?

Also cleaned and mopped the bathrooms and kitchen. Stoked to have it all to myself the next 2 and a half weeks. Going to be bummed when they come home.

Well my phone didnt charge last night cause the port is all fucked, shut down entirely, eventually turned on at work but was frozen, got it up to 23% after I scheduled an appt at Apple down the road, then it just stopped and would only show the white screen and the dead battery sign. Went into Apple after a shitty day of work, turns out the dumbshit lady scheduled me for Wednesday without even asking what day i wanted... considering I said i could come tonight after 5, so the kid tried to help as much as he could which means he tried cleaning my charge port. Came home to try and get it back on just like all day at work and now its shattered.
Shoulda got this fixed in the summer but assumed it wouldnt fuck me all the sudden. So fuck you Apple, Im done until you can make a phone that lasts, my old ipod touch even got fucked up pretty quick in HS.
Any good androids for cheap? Trying to get a Samsung of some sort, parents have no complaints with theirs...

My speaker fell off last year and got run over by a cat. Wanted to get another. Walmart doesn't sell them anymore. Found them on the bed bath and beyond website.
I ordered 2 almost 2 weeks ago. Hadn't heard anything or gotten them so checked the website yesterday to figure it out and it said "order canceled".
I called about it and nobody knew why. Was on hold for ages at multiple times. Then still nothing. Finally they transferred it to another department that were going to check it out and call me back. Just called back today because I hadn't heard anything. Nobody had any idea what happen.
Useless whore on the phone told me "Contact your bank because there probably was a problem with your bank or debit card info". Like bitch, I've used my cc on a bunch of stuff the last few weeks and have had 0 problems. That cc hasn't given me issues while traveling all over the world. But suddenly it just shits out because I ordered speakers from your website? Obvious bullshit. And there wasn't even a note about that being the reason it was canceled, she was just making shit up.
Also MOST places and by that I mean pretty much all places will email you if there is a problem with your billing information, payment didn't go through, order was canceled because out of stock etc. NOTHING.
Instead of being smart and saying "I'm sorry about that but if you'd like I can place the order again(maybe give you shipping that isn't complete shit) maybe I would have done it". Instead she was useless so I decided to buy it from another site. Unfortunately they'll old models so I couldn't find them on amazon but I found them on FYE. Just sucks I'm going to have to wait a week to get something I should have already had.

Past 2 AP Statistics quizzes I’ve taken I’ve gotten over 100 percent on. Test on the unit comes along today and there is literally fucking ZERO of the material we’ve been working with. Sat there in frustration for 45 minutes and filled in random shit in the multiple choice portion of it. I’ll be lucky to get above a 50%. Fuck.
