Um no I usually kick back watch some Netflix around 10 or 11 and cruise NS until 12 to 1 and I always end up posting around 11 and nobody respons until the next morning.
 
My dad basically told me that if I drop out and join a police academy I'm no longer welcome home. He told me to "make it work" (in reference to college) or I'm not his kid.

Regardless, I'm working with the police department.

Don't be a shitty cop. As far as the other fuck it. I can understand parents wanting "what's best" for their kids aka wanting their kids to do what they want them to but still. You're an adult, that's fucked. Especially taking it that extra step.

Best of luck. Just use that as determination to kill it in whatever you do. Parents will come around, if they don't fuck em.(not literally)

Yeah, I have issues with the current state of the force, but I really want to help the community. My dad is not too keen on this. I'm trying to go about in the most respectful way I can.

For sure. I didn't really mean be a giant dick but more do your own thing and if he doesn't like it too bad.

Could def use more good cops. Unfortunately you're kind of stuck being a douche in some aspects. Quotas and shitty laws. But even then can still be an improvement over many. And being a helpful and respectable person in the community never hurts.

Like the old school sheriff.

All my friends randomly stopped longboarding, which means downhill is basically impossible. I only get out like maybe 3-4 times a month for actual downhill, and the rest is by myself.

I love downhill so much, I just don't have the chance to do it anymore :/
 
I think I'm becoming depressed or old. Everything I've had a passion for since middle school I just don't want to do. Rollerblading is the biggest one; I used to skate for hours every single day weather permitted and now I just wanna lay in bed and I want it to snow. I miss being stoked on life :/

What really grinds my gears is how people, especially people in my school, use the phrase "people make mistakes" just to sugarcoat anything bad that happens. It pisses me off!

This applies to absolutely nothing in life, unless it's unintentional. If you make the wrong decisions, you deserve to get caught. There's no reason to show up at a school function piss drunk to the point you're going to pass out and/or vomit everywhere. If you want to be there, don't go when you're completely blackout drunk.

aggressive drivers who think its ok to pass in non passing zone, ride peoples asses when theyre going the speed limit, and generally be a douche and put other drivers in danger because youre impatient and think you are above everyone else whos trying to get somewhere. i hope you all get slammed with tickets so expensive you will lament ever driving like an asshat.

what's worse are people who drive 5-10 mph under the speed limit and then you get to a safe spot to pass them and as your passing them they speed up to 80 so you can't, and then proceed to go 55 once you're back behind them

Starting to show and everyone who I've talked to about being pregnant at 19 is so fucking sorry for me. Almost all of them asked why I'm not getting rid of it. Like yes I definitely didn't want to have a kid this young and it sucks and its going to be hard but I'm not sorry. I want to be excited for this and all you're doing is bumming me out. Some stranger came up to me in whole foods this morning and tried to touch me (I fucking hate being touched in general) and then proceeded to talk to me about making sure it goes to a good home because she saw I didn't have an engagement ring and assumed that I wasn't going to keep it. It took everything in me not to smack the everliving shit out of her.
 
saving up to buy a house is grinding my gears! I have roughly 8k now toward it and still need at least another 12k. Thinking of getting around 20k to get a house in the $100-125k region. The part that is getting to me is the time. It is not going to be until at least spring I get that much. I just want to move out now! And spring is best case scenario. I still got to look at so many different places to make sure I make the right choice. And I feel weird making an appointment to check out houses now when I do not have the money yet. It almost makes me want to rent... But, at the same price you can be paying a mortgage. It is just the down payment that blows the most

ouch. 20% sucks. we only had to drop 10% on ours. I'd suggest looking around for other mortgage lenders. Shouldn't be too hard to find an institution with a 10% requirement.

if you really want to stop renting look into a 80/17 loan. basically you pay 80% of the loan at standard fixed rate, then 17% at double the interest rate, but only 3% down. if you know your income is going to go up (i think you've said you've just started working in another thread, so chances are this is true) and can afford the increased payments for the last 17%, it's a good deal IMO

anyway, i have a friend who works at fucking applebees bought his first home with this method.
