I've been really curiious about this lately, mostly because of Rondo's new contract, I dont think hes worth $55 mil, whatever, we'll see. Rank the top 5 or 10 orr 15 pointguards in the league, based on skill level. Go

1. Steve Nash

2. Rondo...even though I hate him

3. Chris Paul

4. Tony Parker

5. Mo WIlliams just cuz hes on my team

im a celtics fan and this is my list1.) Darren Williams2.) Chris Paul3.) Steve Nash4.) Tony Parker5.) Rajon Rondo

its Deron Williams

1. Chris Paul

2. Nash

3. Tony parker

4. billups

5. Rondo

5. Baron Davis

6. Gilbert Arenas

my b im really high, and yeah i forgot gilbert but how can you rank a guy who has played 4 games in the last season and is already hurting again this season

i agree with ya. i almost didnt even want to add him to the list because of that reason but when he is on his game he is fun to watch. same with Davis. but really who else is out there....Kidd? same boat, often injured. Jamal Crawford? def not top 10.

1. Chris Paul

2. Deron Williams

3. Tony Parker

4. Rajon Rondo

5. Derrick Rose

Steve Nash drops because he can't play d.

Ah fuck, forgot about Chauncey

1. Chris Paul

2. Deron Williams

3. Tony Parker

4. Chauncey Billups

5. Rajon Rondo

Derrick Rose will be up top soon.

and are we ranking them as players as a whole or ranking them whether they are good at their position, because tony parker does not play like a true point guard, i.e. passing the ball and running his teams offense, but he is a great player overall, so what exactly are we ranking them on

true

and Derrick Rose as mentioned above.

i used to be on top of this shit when i played fantasy basketball but i quit this year. havent been paying much attention.

I disagree. He's a classic drive and kick point guard. The offense doesn't run through him all the time because he has Timmy. When you have a post presence like that, you have to run your offense from the inside out. Plus the Spurs are based on ball movement, so even if he initiates the offense/runs the play, he may not always get the assist. Doesn't mean he's not a great floor general.

yea i guess you're right, im probably just judging him because he doesnt get near as many assists as the other top PGs, but i honestly havent watched the spurs play this year so i probably shouldnt be talking

1. Chris Paul

2. Deron Williams

3. Chauncey Billups

4. Tony Parker

5. Steve Nash

I would have Rondo somewhere maybe around 7-8. No hate pwease (Ima Celtics fan)

I've seen some serious omissions from most of these lists so far, so here's mine.

1) Chris Paul - straight up pimp

2) Deron Williams - takes over, does it all

3) Chauncey Billups - strokes 3's, physical

4) Steve Nash - when healthy no one makes their team better, even with horrible D

5) Jose Calderon - true point guard, never turns it over

6) Devin Harris - slasher, good defender

7) Jason Kidd - still gets it done, clutch

8) Monta Ellis - crazy fast scorer, if he shoots better gonna be a stud

9) Rajon Rondo - on any night can explode in pts, rbs, stls, asts...needs to learn to shoot more than layups

10) Baron Davis - extremely physical, can take over games still

11) Gilbert Arenas - streaky. when he's on, 40pts, when he's off 12TOs

12) Mo Williams - Shoot 3's, get it to LeBron

13) Tony Parker - FAST. hurt a lot, put up better numbers on shittier team. Sexy Wife

14) Jameer Nelson - only seen one real good half season out of him, lots of potential

15) Derrick Rose - decent all year, was awesome in playoffs, still young will move up a lot
