Randy Moss back to Minnesota!?!?

good riddance..its a contract year for him and he didnt do shit in 4 games
I think he has a total of about 140 yards this season and completely didnt show up against miami on monday
 
true it was a great back shoulder throw too..
its a shame because brady has stuck his neck out multiple times for randy including taking a pay cut to get him here...and has expressed to everyone how he'd love to play with him for a few years

this is the stupidest trade in the last 10 years. him being on the field alone frees up the other recievers. if the pats ended up with vincent jackson i'd understand, but this is idiotic.
 
agreed a 3rd rd pick isnt shit for moss..but the problem with the kraft is that he never wants to spend any more
I think the looming lock out next year was scaring them into getting rid of moss for whatever htey could..because if there was a lock out next year they would have had to pay him anyways
oakland did the same thing when they got rid of him to us..didnt they just trade for a 4th rd or something like that??
 
but at that point moss wasn't doing shit in oakland and they just wanted to get rid of him. the pats opposition gameplans around covering moss, and that is a key part of what make the patriots offense work. even if this was a low production year for moss (he already had 3 tds) that threat would help our offense. and do you honestly think that brandon tate is ready to take over for one of the best wr's in NFL history? i don't think so. Tate needs a few years yet.
 
The patriots know what they are doing. Moss was becoming dead weight and he would just hurt the team. All will be right with the team.

i got a moss jersey last year, what happens, he goes to the vikes.

fuck fuck fuck fuck, my favourite player. it was nice having him on one of my two favourite teams.

a lot of teams to root now for (at least a little), jets (LT), vikes (moss), eagles because of vick.
 
marshawn lynch is also getting traded to the seattle seahawks, where he will be in the same backfield as justin forsett whome he shared the backfield with in college.
 
on the plus side the pats now have 8 picks in the first 2 rounds of the draft. that could be great, the draft is going to be deep this year, and some good WR's are up and coming.

this deal hurts in the short term, but down the road, maybe it will be seen as genius. time will tell.

I'm jacked because the first Vikings game I ever went to was in 1998 against the Tampa Bay Bucs Moss made his rookie debut and caught 2 touchdowns.

It doesn't matter who is QB'ing the team (ryan leaf could) once Rice is back.....Randy Moss, Sidney Rice, Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shaincoe and Adrian Peterson??? siiiiiiiick.
 
3 years ago....now he is just a decoy there....seriously. All he is used for is to run all the way down the field to have them throw it underneath to Welker.

I can't wait to see Favre and Moss play in Green Bay.
 
i think it will be good :) hopefully shiancoe is feeling better for the next game, and rice heals up real soon... the vikings will be looking solid. oh ya they also have to get their heads out of their asses haha

NJ, dallas, GB, NE

all of them must wins if they want a shot at even the nfc champ game this year. then hopefully harvin comes back strong, and peterson stays w/o injury. i can't imagine having harvin and moss to throw to, going to be sick. what a move for the vikings
 
Sooo fucking stoked on this!!! Brett Farve and Randy Moss on the same team! My hopes for a Vikings super bowl have been resurrected.

bill belicheck must of really hated moss to pretty much give him away like that.

at first i thought it could be a move to pick up Jackson but i dont think AJ smith wants to deal jackson in the AFC.

also its fucking crazy how many picks the pats have for the draft especially since one of the first rounders is from oakland so it will be for sure a top 10 pick probably top 5.

i really do like this move getting moss out of the AFC east but fuck it happening when the vikings are coming to new medowlands stadium on monday
 
Rumors in the works on a possible trade for Jackson or Steve Smith. Fingers crossed for Smith, he's on my fantasy team and needs a QB like Brady to really shine. I trust Bellicheck, guy is a football genius. My guess is that he engineered a deal with the Chargers to block the Jackson trade to Minnesota. He probably told the Chargers that he would trade Moss to Minn to get early draft picks, something the Chargers wanted for Jackson. Trust the Hoodie.
