Random old Elan ski with extra edge underfoot

So I was thinking back say 15 years now ... Elan had a park ski and I seem to remember it had an edge underfoot in the middle of the ski. It was flush with the base material. Does anyone remember this ski or am I just suffering from stoner brain

Mo2. Dope ski, my sister had a pair. Wish I could find a pair.

they had another version on it, Mo2.2 that had 2 edges imbedded in the base.

Had an old pair of dynastars with the same thing, sixth sense spin I think was the model name. Beat the shit out of those to the point where both tips and tails delamned but the underfoot edge was still perfect. Makes more sense than an edge less ski imo

The edgeless is better if your grinding aluminum, wood and concrete.

Elan, Dynastar, and Atomic all made skis like this. Always wanted a pair of the Dynastars with the extra edges.

Can someone explain this ? Wouldn’t you get wrecked on a rail?

It's flush with the base. The whole idea was to spread the impact out more across the base of the ski.

Yeah my sixth sense superpipes had 2 inner rails under the foot too. They were supoosed to be the same ski as the troublemakers but to me they were a bit stiff and not as poppy as the tms

Lol my friend has those way back, he found it made the skis heavier and didn’t like it, wonder why.
