you guys have any ideas for when a day is super shitty on the mountain and you wanna play a ski game with some buddies? i was with some friends around thanksgiving time skiing in utah, and the snow was shitty, there was no park open, and we were trying to think of as many games as we could but struggled. any ideas for the future?
 
and i was thinking more like games. i heard some people talk about GNAR but i have no idea waht that is. just fun random shit
 
i heard of the gaper game or somehting on here one time. It goes liek 1 point for spraying someone, 2 points for a snowball, 3 points if they curse at you, 4 points if they chase you, 10 points if you do it to ski patrol or somehting. idk it goes somehting like that but it sounds pretty fun
 
see who can do as many butters down the run and they only count if you can do them normal left and right, and then switch left and right.

Also the game GNAR, SKI, or STOMP are all like SKATE or HORSE just on skis and if you are evenly matched it gets really fun to see who can do the weirdest trick and see if the others can do the same.
 
Chinese Downhill.

All skis off, then you gotta jump into them and pop in, then its a full contact race to the bottom.
 
Including little girls and injured ski area patrons. You could just have a top to bottom race with objectives, like you have to finish with 4 poles and some other random stuff.
 
scavenger hunts are so much fun. you have to have a good mix of shit on the list for it to be good though.

chinese downhills are also great. you have to do it on a crowded, tight run, with lots of curves and shit in the way.

king of the mountain is always cash. you take cups, fill them with beer (or whatever) and then have a race to the bottom, but you cant spill your beer. straight from that movie out cold.

games of SNOW or GNAR over a jump is fun. because people throw out the most ridiculous tricks, and then it turns into an epic shitfest when everyone tries to land the trick and dies.

its also fun to just try and do butters down an entire run. and death trains are good too.

 
a chinese downhill is an all-out full-contact no-rules race from the top of a run to the bottom.

its most fun if you start with everyone at a line, nd their skis/poles about 20 feet in front of them. because then there is a foot race too.
 
that sounds way fun. im doing a chinese downhill for sure. and the outcold idea i didnt even think of tryin that im doin that too. these ideas are awesome hahaha i cant wait
 
-everybody gets 1 pole (extras can then be given to the pole'less if they want to play too, ex. snowboarders).

-one person sticks an empty can on the end of their pole.

-everybody else tries to hit that can off.

-full contact, anything goes shred down the hill.
 
just play tag, no poles allowed. all the normal rules. it's so much fun if you are all bombing down a run and the same skill level
 
steeze competions...you try to look the most ghetto till the point you look very stupid and over afterbang every feature
 
this sounds like an excellent idea.

frisbees are fun if you and a friend ride down the deck of the pipe (one person on each side) and throw the frisbee over the pipe.
 
A game I heard about, go down a hill with someone who's the same binding size as you, with the same boot size, and be on 1 ski, hold the other and try to get the person next to you to put on your ski, or you can do it with opposite skis. I've seen it done, both people fell and it was really funny to watch.
We play a game where you have one person go backwards, and sword fight with polls, super fun.
Snowball fights are always fun.
In the lift line, unclick them and knock them over. We do that all the time and it's hilariously fun.
 
yea, you can slash it, get your nose's under it and flick it up or over, head butt it, etc...

Um, how did you fail to not go to park city and ski? They had an epic park around thanksgiving.
 
haha or when your going up the lift, try and swap a ski or both with some1 the same boot size haha,
 
i have a snowbird pass so i always go there. their park is like two rails haha. i was gonna work at pc this next semester to get free tickets there too, but that fell through
 
follow the leader. the person in front does a bunch of random shit while skiing and everybody else has to do the same and there is person in back acting as a judge who decides who the leader is next. its a fun game to play on the way to the park.
 
Maybe a little off topic. Every time I have tried snowblading I hated it, but these are way fun:

These are the original Figls made by Atomic. They are nothing like snowblades. You can actually rock back onto the tail to slow down. Mid season when there hasn't been snow for awhile, but there's a decent base; find the steepest tightest trees you can find and drop in on these. You will laugh your ass off. A friend and I went down the Junior Olympic downhill course on these. 65 MPH easy. That was probably one of the funnest and most terrifying things I have ever done. I own two pairs of these and I wish someone would start making them again. Not really a game, but ski on these with a couple of friends, stash a bottle of something in the trees, do a run and a shot. So much fun.

^^^^^^the chinese downhill game sounds awesome, ill have to try it. my personal fave is big trains of kids slaying the bumps on the trail /side hits on a groomer. or trains of kids acting like gapers. we did that the other day and heard someone behind us yell, "god, I HATE ski school".
 
tie a blindfold around your head, trip acid and then tie your hand behind your back and take one ski off. should be fun
