Rampage boots flex

I can't really figure out how to adjust the flex on rampage boots. How and where is the place to adjust it?

take out the liner and on the inside there will be the sides of the shell they are tan in my case that flex together when the boot is flexed forward. The boots should have come with c like flexy things that have a clip on them...there should be indents and a track in the back of the boot where you can put in those clip things 8 is the highest flex and 4 is the lower flex and there is 2 possitions whree you can put them... you have to put the c shaped flexers between the top cuff and the bottom boot shell...if you have any more questions pm me

can you take out the pieces if you want to soften your boot up a little bit?
