Ramp Skis

RAMP is a super legit company, great group of people. A lot of work goes into their skis, very high quality.

I've heard the name, it seems like it would be one of those micro-brew ski that is handmade and stiff af

I demoed a pair, and although they seemed fun. I cracked a lot of top sheet and several parts of the edges.

I skied them and they are pretty fun. Definitely a jib ski, it's pretty soft and buttery.

As far as durability, from what I've seen it is horrendous. The topsheets get hacked to bits, seen multiple delams, sidewall issues, etc. I wouldn't ski them.

I was demoing a pair and the bindings ripped right out of the core. Besides that it skied ok but I have never seen that happen before.

For those of you worried about topsheet durability, RAMP has completely changed this in the past year. They no longer use bamboo veneers, specifically because they cracked and got chipped to shit. Back to a vinyl topsheet and greater bevels on the sidewalls, so the durability issue is resolved in that regard.

Corks are an incredibly fun ski, and I have a prediction you are going to be seeing a lot more around the park in the coming years. Enjoy the demo
