they have been for about a month now, it's always a bummer to see a company go out of business.

Our economy would be a broken system if they DIDN'T go out of business.

Always heard that their skis were complete shit: tons of durability issues and boring designs.

In my mind Ramp started out as something more akin to a Multi level marketing scheme, than a true ski company. They had a shit aesthetic, lame names("Ground Hog? Really, what kind of simpleton even comes up with THAT?), And probably spent too much money on their image (badly), and showroom, when they should have spent that money on grinding quality product. If people need to learn anything, these days it's more about your quality when you are going for that dollar that the typical "indie" buyer is willing to spend.

theyve been done for a few months now. hats off to them for employing people in the local area and being a locally-based/minded company and supporting the local freeride/freestyle teams and ski clubs up in Park City, but it seemed like their practices or products didn't pan out as well as they imagined it.
