Ramp length

so my drop-in is 7 feet tall, and i was thinking about making the drop in ramp about 11 feet long with a super smooth transition. What do you guys think? too short and steep or just right?
 
sounds pretty legit. is it with snow on top or like wet carpet? cause if ya got snow then that should be plenty. but for carpet...bigger is better.

i just made mine 6ft tall i was hopeing it would be for snow and turf. but you could prob just make a 3ft tall base to make it bigger. but youll need 3 friends to lif it on top
 
for a super smooth trani just put two 2x4's about 2ft from the bottom of the ramp and nail them in at a diff angel and just brace the top an bottom.
 
im sure the the run way matters too. i dont reall like coming off a steap ramp with a really short runway on to the rail. but the longer the runway the slower your going to be geting on the rail.
