Ramp designs?

My buddy and I were looking to build a 3-4' high launch ramp out of wood for when mother nature decides to give us some snow. Does anyone have any good designs or any links to any? I found a couple skate designs, but not sure how they'd translate into using them with our skis.

Hey, for the past few year, I've just been trying to do it outta alot of snow. It would work if you just make it big enough cuz my friend used 2 make them for GTs.

all your really making is a little wedge. You dont need directions to build a jump. Do you use directions to build jumps when you have enough snow to build a jump? I'd hope not. You just build something that looks right. Do the same thing with your wooden jump. If it's too steep adjust it, if it's too skinny, make it wider etc.

The reason you can't find designs is because who in the right mind needs directions to build a jump.

Sorry.. but yeah

i found a pretty decent skate jump in the garbage: 1 foot high, 3 feet wide and 3 feet long. very solid.

I know I don't NEED blueprints to build a jump. I can make one. I just wanted to make a GOOD one. One that isn't going to be a peice of shit at the end of this winter.

And about the GT's...check this out. I found this earlier. It's what inspired me to make a jump out of something other than snow for a change. http://www.m90.org/view_image.php?image_id=1122

find a picture and modify it to your needs , thats what we did with our run in ramp , and soon to be built portable jump.

I just wanna ski, is that to much to ask in life
