shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...................

before i begin i just have to say that i just lost the greatest email

ive ever written. it was done, i was going to click send, and wet to

attach a picture....and poof, it vanished. it is taking a tremendous

amount of strength to write right now..

it was beautiful......

let me attempt to create a similar one, just as beautiful.

I know i shouldnt have even mentioned it, but i felt it needed to be remembered.

I wept for the world today. I was overwhelmed. I watched "The End of

Suburbia and The Collapse of The American Dream" and "Wal-Mart: thie

High Cost of low prices" both those, combined with inner observations,

it was too much. I believe my path is true, strong, and pure, and now

evidently necessary (pretty close to True (north), Strong, And Free)

Sustainability. The word of our generation. It shoud have been the

word of our fathers generation, but i guess they were too busy with,

y'know making money and chasing the dream. I dont blame them for that,

they were just trying to better their lives and bring as much wealth

as possible for their families to enjoy. Too bad our metaphorical SUV

is careening into a brick wall. Sure, the SUVs are pretty tough, and

well probably break through the brick, but then to the mortar, to the

stone, to the steel, to the rebar, to the titanium which may be our

salvation.

Religious?

Death?

Tech? .... Dech? Dethnological Technology?

Natural? (as in symbiosis with nature)

Im putting my money on natural. Its like betting on religious

without admitting it.

so im sure we all know by now that we cant live as we are living, and

that our economic collapse is only a matter of time.

........ alberta is scary. ....

those tar sands, as theyre becoming economically viable, are bringing

in MAD AMOUNTS of people to work, and the oil production has peaked,

the only prospects being the persian gulf, alaska (Very not nature

nice) and good ol alberta. Apparently our new govt is spending 2

billion on new fighter jets? im not sure on the exact figures, but i

guess its "economic" . ppphhhhhhttttttttttttttt!>

Would you want to know what I could do with 2 billion dollars?

baby, would you EVER!

You wanna see a sustainable country?

"1 wind generator for every household in Canada"

300-1000$ each

(models range)

and whats our population?

32 million?

pppfffttttttttt.

the fuckin day.

my estimate is closer to a hunderd million since i know nothing about

what those kinds of numbers look like. Neither do you. You dont know

what 30 million people look like! you think you do, dont you?

They could tell us theres A Billion people in Canada and I wouldnt

know the difference.

anyway, back to the point.

1 wind generator is enough for a microwave, tv, or fridge. I think if

you timed it right, you could even rotate those 3 off of 1 plug (the

smallest model)

Ok, estimate theres 32 million people in canada. Multiply that by 300

(basic model)

96 billion dollars........ ok, a bit overestimated there.... but im

sure we could get a deal ...WAIT!!!

i said household......

divide by 3, (for the average family)

minus a million homeless

new total= 2.9 billon.

WOuld you radther have a wind generator than some warplanes?

Damn, what happend to the power of the people....

ya, so.

Treehouses. Thats my arguement for em. take it or leave it.

(ps. it wont matter if you dont, im not listening)

but dont get me wrong, i can hear just fine.

So im going to Costa rica in 2 weeks.

GOnna stay at EARTH University. GOing to study ......guess.....can you

guess........ Treetop ecolodges (im hoping, we do the ziplines, thats

all i know). Its part of a "Saving the Rainforest - Ecotourism,

Sustainability, and Biodiversity." with the college. 10 days. Its part

of my courseload. Online Elective.

sssssssssssssuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

AND

I bought a mac powerbook G4. 12 inch.

mmmm what a beautiful dream realizer. it is my new tool, i can chisel

at the foot of humanitys problems. I chose one. I chose it when I was

a young lad. The rainforest. Thats mine. Im gettin as close as i can.

And now i have the education, and the means. Now i just need the

parents money..............

seriously though, making money on the way to your goals is a serious

and tiresome chore. I heard its supposed to "make a man outta ya"

pfffffffffffttt ill make my own man thank you.

i may become a man, but a man with no mission (cept to have babies and

spend the rest of your life rainsing them)

which is the most noble job of all.

unless youre the one screwing over hunderds of people in a hunndred

different ways for your 4$ t-shirt from wal mart....

then youre just like the rest.

and so am i. i dont mean to exclude myself from the rest. heavens no,

wouldnt want to do that. Might end up crucified for being special.

or drowned for witchcraft because i put a chicken to sleep?

or maybe a slave in 1850, in louisiana?

maybe im JFK, in whatever year he was shot in.

What about kurt cobain? didnt want to sell out, blew his brains out?

Martin Luther King?

Dali Lama? (still alive thankfully)

why do all the special people get killed or ridiculed. people need to

believe theyre all special, and act accordingly.

then no special people will be killed.

and then only special people would die. nice thought, no?

Wow guys, seriously if youre still reading, you need a hobby. unless

your hobby is reading. thats coo.

im just playing on my new computer. SMILE!

before i lose this email and the attached bunch more awesome songs and

pictures, immasenditnow.

Shawn

that definately wasnt similar to the first email. maybe that explains it.

sean, i like the way you think. you need to type a ton of a ton more. and i hope i didn't spell your name incorrectly, but if i did, i guess it'll make you more humbled.

heh. the sentence. i just press enter when i manage to get a complete thought outta my head. some are almost a paragraph, but i like the timing.

i like how you can time your thoughts to make sense. if that shit was all together, people would get lost, its easy enough not to care and be intimidated by the world.

Yes it is pretty out there, so am I. Its awesome out here

and yes, you spelt my name wrong, but you think that bothers me? no, i know you like me for who i am, not what letters are in my name.

everyone does anyway.

and my irish grandma still spells it sean.

so, i have 2 names. thats cool.

S.

fucking awsome bro. and i agree 100% with the windmills idea.

war is a waste of money. if everyone stopped spending on war machines to further their contry on the glodbal scale think about all of that money that would be saved.

milspend2.GIF

so roughly 500 billion US dollars

imagine how we could further ourselves as humans instead of as rival countries if all the money was invested in sustainable ideas.

It's totally idealistic but: if no one spent money on war, those 500 billion dollars and the resources that are used could be used to greatly ease the poverty and rampant disease and malnutrition in the third world.

it is only in the tens of millions (each):

- to fund freshwater to everyone in the world

- supply adequate food to the worlds poor

so then we'd have like 4.980 billion dollars to spend on other useful stuff, like roads homes cars education health care etc.

it kept me reading, the wind power idea....there are millions of things people could do if they thought logically and efficcently that would save our asses in the future, unfforchanitly people dont, and most importantly the people on top though but its nice to think of ideas and put out ur thoughts just to make urself think something can be done when infact over time no human can help enough to the point where they are actully beating time in the race to make things better or worse.

too bad that alberta gets most of it's energy from coal (about 90%) which is a fucking waste of time. you can get about what? like >30% useful enrgy from coal. compared to wind power which is about

oh man i know. it saddens me to think of our priorities and how we're just killing eachother off and spending more and more money when all everyone wants is security, health and prosperity, right?

so many things we could all do to make this world better... I don't know to what extent they can realize, but they are millions of opportunities such as that windmill one that everybody could participate in, the easiest ones starting at just busing, not wasting water or food, etc... However, there are always going to be men showing some superiority of power and they are the only ones with a real voice, who show the examples of a consumerism society which we are all part of, so i highly doubt anything like what was mentionned will ever happen.

Interesting post as usual skipimp_.

helping the third world wont happen... its too far gone... we need to focus here at home on the right kind of technology or else the entire world will be third world.

we need an overhaul.

So, I'm super baked and that shit blew my skull. Well, I'm not baked, and I didn't read all of it. But it was long, so props to that.

these two sentences. woah. I donno why but their making me trip. its too complex for my brain to comprehend 'time your thoughts to make sense.' woahhhh

heh, you get it.

the spacing between the words is the spacing between the thoughts, and those spaces allow for the following thoughts to produce themselves in the readers mind before flowing to the next sentence

i know its bad to think of it this way but war is a good way of controlling the population. seriously, if we spent money on saving/creating lives instead of killing them well have too many people (as if we dont already). then what are we gonna do. we need to cut back on population seriously or else we're fucket. in my opinion we are already overpopulated.

i wasn't implying that war is good or anything. i totally am against war for obvious moral and ethical reasons. i am saying however, using the 500 billion dollars for saving/creating lives is wrong. we need to use it to solve our important cival and environmental problems.

yes, more people is not the answer to anything.

we cant invest money in africa, the whole world will fall apart. we have to invest in sustainable technology or we're all doomed.

that was uber terrific...but do you have any idea what 30 million wind towers would look like? what we really need are those 600 foot tall ones that stand in the oceans in the north that generate ungodly amounts of power...and if i hear one more hick ass vermonter say "I dont want dem shits ruining my view" I'm gunna ask them to clean up the 7 broken down cars on their lawn and kick them square in the nuts...

word skipimp.... word.

there are so many things that we could do for this planet, but we choose not to.

.......some people want to colonize the moon and mars. how are we going to do that if we can't fix our problems on our own planet...........

uber idealistic, but still... got to the point, and i like your point...even though im technically a republican, i still agree a hundred percent with you...but shit sucks, there will always be assholes in the world looking to start shit, yes, including the american gov't...sad thought..

in the words of team america - "See, there's three kinds of people: dicks, pussies, and assholes. Pussies think everyone can get along, and dicks just want to fuck all the time without thinking it through. But then you got your assholes, Chuck. And all the assholes want us to shit all over everything! So, pussies may get mad at dicks once in a while, because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes, Chuck. And if they didn't fuck the assholes, you know what you'd get? You'd get your dick and your pussy all covered in shit! "

I am uber idealistic, but not to the point of fantasy.

My ideal world is attainable.

and is has nothing to do with easing pain or suffering.

that shits part of being human. get used to it.

That was very entertaining. I like the way yuo think.

As far as population, I heard that there's going to be a population boom then populationis going to drop substantially, and the quality of living won't be to great.
