i just started doing rails and I always get to the end and my legs go out from under me and i land on my ass, just wondering what recommendations you have

i think you are still a lil scared , ry to be more aggressive . also you can try to to be has low has possible , bring your gravity center has low has possible . a tip for this bring your hands close to your knees or even on your knees . keeping in mind that you need to keep 50% of your weight on each foot .now this is only for a flat rail or a down rail , dont try this on a kink ,rain bow or tick out rail .try this and come back to me if it doesnt work...
 
If you are making it to the bottom and slipping out there your balance was more then likely lost before that. My tip is as you are on the rail most people have the tendancy to look at there feet because it seems stable, the best way to make it all the way for me is to look towards the end of the rail. This keeps your balance even and it will take you safely to the end of the rail
