I would recommend doing a 90 degree turn onto a rail. If you want to do a 180 thats your business but that sounds like a bad idea. You should probably try boxes first though.
lol guys he means like do a 180 (blindside sw-up) while hes on the rail not onto the rail itself. But you the best thing is just get low pop turn ur head and spot ur landing, but no one can really help you that much, sine its all about ur confidence and trying it until u get it.
Beautiful example here of some classic NS hate, none of you even read the question right... Hes asking how to do a blind switchup i.e. a 180 ON the rail, NOT onto it...
