So as some of you may know I recently started snowboarding again. I need some tips to do rails because I found them wayyyyy easier on skis. I know you gotta be flatter when on a board but if you got any other tips drop them hurr. Thank you.

I remember when i first started learning boardslides, someone told me to position myself like I was petting a dog. Lots of people have the problem of leaning too far back when they boardslide, and if you bend your knees with your hands out just in front of you, you automatically assume a decent boardsliding position. Literally as soon as I tried that out, I got boardslides down immediately.

After you get those, frontsides and back lips will be a lot easier.

For some reason I think front side and back lip would be less scary. Well maybe not front side if your leaning on your heel edge.

start with 50-50s, they're just like grinding on skis. just keep your base flat. then do 50-50 into boardslides, also easy. you just keep your base flat and slide that shit around. keep your hands in front of you like that other guysaid. everything else after that will flow.
