Rails really sticky!

Sunday I went to my local mountain and the rails were really sticky,(40 degrees outside),I know that it isn't my skis because I normally hit all the rails everyday.

Tomorrow I'm again going to ski and it's suppose to be like 32-35 degrees outside.

If I put skateboard wax, Is it going to be less sticky?

Or If I put BUTTER on the rail it shouldn't be sticky haha?
 
never considered not riding it?

pee on it, old urban trick to make rails slide better. JP Auclair has been doing it for years
 
Rub some snow or ice on it or talk to your park crew. Don't go waxing public park rails. You can make a rail waaaay too fast with a little too much wax.
 
yeah don't do anything to the rail. while you might want to wax it, other people won't or they won't expect it to be 100x faster, and will eat shit badly. talk to your park crew if its really a problem.

or just learn how to adjust to slightly sticky rails. part of being a good skier is knowing how to adjust to hard or changing conditions
