I tried rails today for my first time. Seemed i could get up on top but then i would fall backwards and my feet would slip out from uner me, or my feet would come apart. anyone have any suggestions on this? the 2 rails werent that good either. they were both downhill, not flat. would that make a difference? I went to my arena today and found the perfect slope and pile of snow from the ice to jib in the summer. so if i cant get rails half ass this season, ill work on it over sumer. any tips would be awsome.

not too sure where you live but there is a still a while that you could learn at a hill. most places will still have snow at this time of year

oh ya there is still lotsa snow, and i plan on going quite a bit, when i get a break from college. im gonna try for once a week. is there anyway to train the body to lean more forward on rails? that seems to be my biggest problem, id just loose my footing, and it would go worse from there. today i broke my thumb somehow.

just bend your knees, keep you shoulders over your knees and put your legs shoulder width apart. look at the end off the rail and the rest is for you to figure out.

remember my name...

ok so pretty much jump onto the rail, hopefully land flat or eat shit, and have my knees bent and lean forward. Alright, ill give that a try after a few days of healing . thanks guys and girls
