You realize that people do this all the time? At least snowboarders do. The concrete mini ramps mostly.

And that rail looks awful for wasting your time with. Picked the least legit thing you could hit.

ya. i have done this a few times. and honestly, what kind of newschooler would you be if you went to the skate park and didn't think about hitting the rails on skis?

I was going to do a ledge at my park and I got kicked out because some bitch said I would ruin the park and she called the coppers

ive wanted to do the so bad... theres liek a 18 foot flat down at my park... now im def gunna try that next winter

Done that before...park rails at your mountain are probably waaaaay better. Don't waste your time on this.

i have done that at my local park, it was pretty fun. We also did a stall at the top of this like 7 foot bank/wall thing at the skatepark

There's an arena right near a skatepark where i live and I really feel like just dumping a whole bunch of snow from the arena pile and kick out all the skaters!

They'd be so pissed!

people do that, but honestly i dont think its worth it, skate park rails are generally waaay smaller and simpler than anything that's worthwhile on skis or snowboard.

but the best part of the movie scandalous is when he seshes a rail at the skate park on skis by doing the run-in on a skateboard... pretty funny idea

the skatepark near my house IS the arena. its an outdoor arena so in the summer people skate there and the government set up a quarter pipe and 2 rails. not much, but the things that are there are pretty good.

Last winter the local freestyle team had a rail comp at a skatepark. Keep in mind though that some skate rails don't really slide so well with skis, I learned that lesson the hard way.
