What material is best to use

How to make them slick and unharmful to my skis

haha word, i just use pvc pipe and wood to hold. just make sure you put screws/nails in places that would shred your skis.

the build a jib 101 has almost all the info you need. If you want to make a box you'll prob want to use some HDPE plastic (for the top) and if you want to make a rail, PVC usually works great

use pvc 2 by 4 cost nuthin and you wont have to deal with rust with pvc. just make sure to use pilot holes
