Rail to Riches 07

rails to riches was a damn good time. the setup was perfect for the most part (lip on the f/d coulda been a little more friendly) and most of the PA guys held their own. Brogan and Pat made it to the finals w/ some pretzels on the down rail and jon's 4 on the down rail. Stout and Sobey i think both got 360 switch up on the f/d but didnt make finals. I'm tryin to claim here, so i won't speak of my runs too much, but i thought i did pretty decent. Overall it was a lot of fun. Sobey and I then hit up Okemo on sunday w/ Jake Seiple (Okemo freeride coach, originally from PA). Monday we hit up Stratton on the way home and a fresh inch or so in the morning. Stratton had a dope early season park setup w/ some jibs at the top, and two real nice jumps about 30 feet or so. That's my little trip report haha. Hopefull some of the NIG guys will post an edit w/ all the footage from prelims and finals to see some locals.
 
not sure yet, I was skiing with brogan last week and landed awkardly off a rail. My docta said it was just a sprain, but there's the possibily some meniscus damage.
 
get an MRI - that will tell what is going on. If it is torn you don't want to ski on it till it's repaired.
 
yea I already got one there was no major damage but there might be a very small tear in the meniscus or cartilage thats not showing upon it and thats whats causing me pain,
