Hey im wonderin whats a good type of support for a rail... tripod /\ ? or a bunch of single supports?

when u guys make rails what concept do u use to support it? I already looked at some pics and that didnt help

 
What do you mean, are you trying to make a rail, or do you already have one and are trying to keep it up?

i did side supports like an outrigger canoe ill post a pick sometime....

You can use sawhorses parallel to the rail if they have clamps, I saw a pic somewhere on here of a PVC rail set up like that.
