Rail length Q's

Does it matter if I have speed when i go off of the rail? Will it help practicing 270's off? I am making a drop in and using the stickyed tutorial for the drop in and they used the 13 ft rail should i judge the length of my rail on how they did theirs? Just wondering because I dont want to have to rebuild my rail if its too long or too short... Any helpp would be nice thanks :)

I have 2 rails that are 13.5ft long, a 10ft long box and a 20ft long pvc pipe (I am the one who made the drop-in tutorial) :)

You could just start with a 12 ft or so and then make another if you want it to be longer. That way you have some options to change it up.

i have a 16' box and a 10' rail, the 10' rail is good for practicing scissoring and sliding but when it comes to spins or switchups go with a 15' to 20'er
