Metawampe Stompe
The Ellen’s Heart and Soul Metawampe
Stompe, is a group effort between Ellen’s Heart and Soul, UMass Amherst
Motorsport Club, UMass Student Government Association and the UMass Ski
and Board Club.
Using over 150 tons of snow we will turn
the Boyden athletics field at UMass Amherst into a snowboard terrain
park “The Stomping Grounds”.
120 riders competed for over $500 dollars worth of donated prizes and Colorado Ski Shop Sponsorship and bragging rights.
Stop by and support Ellen’s Heart and
Soul! Donate $5 and receive a custom Metawampe Stompe Drink koozie and
unlimited free hot cocoa.
Ellen’s Heart and Soul raised $2000 from the Metawampe Stompe for the Virginia Thurston Healing Garden in 2010.
This year we will be raising awareness
around Ellen’s Heart and Souls Ipod Collection Campaign to benefit
”Music for the Heart and Soul” a Ipod lending program offering free
Ipods to hospitals to use in there chemotherapy treatments centers to
create a relaxing and stress free environment for there patients.
This event is only possible with help from our sponsors:
Colorado Ski Shop, Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, Bertera Auto group, Dominoes, Umass Dining Services and Project Drop.
