Rail Jam July 14th

Sounds cool but I'm coming back from Colorado that day, maybe if you guys have another one I'll come! Sounds like fun, any pics/vids for the last 1?
 
we're really good friends with the International Skating Center of Connecticut. Very neccessary partnership.

if anyone has hockey / figure skating friends in Connecticut have them check that place out. it's right on Rt. 10 in Simsbury.
 
what's the setup looking like? you guys use snow shavings? me and a friend are very possibly making the drive from CNY.
 
it'll be an 18 inch tall, 16 foot long flat rail in a parking lot.

drop in is off a bank, so the scaffold tower will be left home this time out.

ice shavings wise, it's going to be hot --- so we're gonna do what we can with insulating blankets this week at the rink, but i think realistic expectations are called for here.

how far's the drive? and how much of this is just to say that you skied with some fun people? because if you're a really serious type i'm gonna ask you to stay home. (i mean this as nicely as possible)

we're going for fun. just like everything else we put together.

think "giggle factor", incorporate it in with the rest of your day, and it'll be pretty awesome.

well, i was going to go until my friend bailed on me. guess i'll be trying to make it up for the fall jam instead.
 
i have a pair of skis i left at home mounted for a 28.5 dalbello which is like 326mm or something, they're yours if you want em. black armadas, urban condition. perfect for this
