i wish it had been open to the public, but it was real fun to watch and get stoked for the season.

whoever was there, was the whole "skierslide" thing a stupid joke? ive never heard an announcer always call skierslide every time a skier hit the rail or box. got real annoying.

most people know that compton attends champlain, and of course he killed it all night and got first place... mcginnis was killing it but im guessing he doesnt attend champlain and got kicked out because he wasnt there after the jam session.

anyone know who the guy with anthems, fulltilts, and huge "im a g" tshirt was? (he got second)

oh and the lone girl was killing it all night too.

anyone have pictures? i know there were tons of filmers and photographers and almost everyone seemed to rep ns for the skiers.

 
When I was heading to the UVM hockey game they were loading up their 4th uhaul truck full of snow. The game ended too late so I couldn't go watch it but I wish I did. Me wants to see pics.

I can put all of your questions to rest. The "skierslide" is a joke. the guy with the magaphone did it last year too because he's a boarder. I'm not sure about McGinnis, i'll have to talk to him to see why he didn't end up in the finals but he was straight killin' that flat rail. The kid with the "IM A G" shirt is Danny V. It's an exclusive tall tee from IMAG3. And to everyone looking for video of the event be sure to keep an eye out for it dropping on NS sometime within the next 2 weeks. I've had quite the amount of footage to sort through and the edit should begin production this week. Hope that solves your thread haha. Cheers!
 
Since the only thing the knuckledragging moustachebag could say was "skier slide", and not "Matt Mcginnis made finals", matt had no idea he was actually in finals
 
and p.s. Krisite, the lone girl you speak of, definitely had the most banger front 2's out of anyone that night. I'm done talking now haha, i'll let the edit explain the rest.
 
Come check out saint Mike's rail jam on Friday night. ShredMC build a whole new set up. There is going to be 3 - 2 story tall scaffolding drop ins, with a 24" long flat box with a 4 ft drop, urban down rail, and flat down box. It's gunna be dope!
Free food AND SIX heaters for the crowd to stay warm, Champlain's jam got so cold.
