yo guys i just wanted 2 see who was ridin in the rail jam on sat and i also am gonna film the event for the video i hope to finish by the end of the year so post if u have anything to say about the comp or movie...

Rail Competition Beginner to Expert levels. Jam on Bear Creek's sick new rail park to see who is the King of Jibs. Registration starts at 10AM and competition begins at 1PM... local acustic music by phil stahl at 7pm in the lodge

i want to enter, but i'd really like ANY information. All the website says is that there's a rail jam. It doesn't say what the price to enter is, what the prizes are, if snowboarding and skiing are separate, format, what rails it may be on. Anything. I'd really like some info, especially about if you have to pay to register, and for a lift ticket separately.

 
cork, i think everybody's been wondering the same thing...they haven't really given much info at all. it sucks. but yeah, i don't even know if they'll be able to have the jam this weekend, judging by the conditions they have even today (1/5). lots of brown and bare spots and snow's real thin everywhere. the rail park was closed today because it was so bare. but i'm asking the same..anyone with some info, please share.

 
as of now we are still waiting on the new rails they ordered. we also are having maintenance buid us a 40 ft of more round handrail and and a huge flat down. these may be in the comp as well. as for the comp i hope the damn thing is postponed. there is like no snow up there but they still say they are open. plus it wil give them time to get the sick jibs out on the mountain

bad news kids i talked with bear and loweriders and the comp is being postponed to a later date for 2 reasons... the new rails havent been set up/havent come in yet and there isnt enough sno 2 set up the jibs properly... i guess this is a good thing cause now the jam wil be better although we have 2 wait... ill get back 2 every1 b4 the postponed date is sceduled wit the details... wow that was long

As far as i know the comp is still on for saturday....there will be three rails... 1st brand new flat to down. it's huge!...then the blue battleship then the flat 20ft red rail. Thats what i heard will be the setup....the reason the comp is still on is because of the snow we still have from the hits. we are going to use some of that snow to cover any low spots. hope that info helps.
