Rail idea

so i made a pvc rail like this

im wondering if i could do this with a 4 inch tube and whit bigger wood. i cut at 4 and 8. im thinking i could do the same thing and then put the bigger piece of wood up higher and support it

I'm sure that it would work. But possibly a cheaper way would be to attach a 2x2 centered on top of a 2x4 to form sort of an inverted T looking thing, if that makes sense.

It could and probably would, but it seems a little bit wobbly, If I were you I would just put some scews on the side so it does not wobble..the pvc part.

yeah that would probably be best are you talking about on the sides of the PVC pipe into the wood?

Itll works, but dont drill anything, cuz itll just crack and break
