Rail Comp in Auckland

Hey there is a rail comp on Queens B-Day weekend in Auckland, I think it is in greenlane, during the snow and outdoor show... I'm enterin so is NZSkier (scotty). you should check it out, all the major NZ skiers are over seas so it may be an easy comp, i havent skied in a bit so i'll be rusty but hey fuck it, I'll stil enter...

Aparently its free entry, me and NZSkier have a waterramp that we built, check out the pictures that we have posted,,,, did you use snow with the rail? did you get it from paradice ice?

Just had the first day of the rail jam, fuckin sick, the rails were sick.. if you wanna enter just rock past auckland show grounds with your gear and they should let you join, go to gate 1 and say your competing and youl get in for free. The next two days are heats and then sunday is final and monday is best trick...

We need some more skiers there, its a fuckin sick set up, I did heaps of new shit... SOOO STOKED!!

YAY I was on TV!!!!! It was sick i was on FlipSide, twice... both shots were of me doin a box-drop-box.. once I did a switch on switch up, the other was switch on 270 out (kinda fell over at the end of htat one)...... But still I was sooo stoked, I cant believe I was skiin on TV.. YAY

Brad (i think his last name is prosser) who is Oakley and Fisher Sponsored and Matt F. (forgot last name) who was sponsored by columbia and a little by K2.. Brad popped a rib tho so he couldn't go to the finals...

I was the only skier in top five, the boarder that won was insane, so smooth and tech aswell...

There was allways two set ups with two run ins. One side was box the other a 1.5m flat to 4m down. At first the flat-down was just a jump from the front, then the jump was taken off and it was taken like a true lip-slide. The box changed a few times, a simple high box (approx 3m or 4m) to small drop to another box (same length).. THen there was a Sharkfin Box, so it was up the small drop then down... ONce it was a flat-drop-flat-drop-flat so altoghether is was about 12 metres.. but it was hard to get speed on..

The sharkfin was the best for blindside swith-ups. Those were the most fun...

hey i just checked out that pic of the urban jib in auckland. its pretty sick. where did you get the snow for that man? or did you use something else?

we got the snow from paradice ice I think... The rail was perfect, just opposite the BP in NewMarket we might be hittin it this weekend again cause last time we didnt get enough snow. I basically landed on only concrete, although I did land, Which I was so stoked about...

i dunno if you guys have seen the NZ snowboard vid 13 degrees but in that they just hit up rails all around tauranga and shit. it is pretty fuckin cool. have you guys got 1242 and RFA and Forward and shit?

Mt.Hutt bought most of the rails from the comp, there are slowly working there way down here. Its going to be dope when the park is set up, what they did over the summer to make the park better is just awesome
