Rail advice

My local mountain just installed some new kinked rails. The only other time I’ve had any sort of kinked Rail was this flat, to down donkey. But they’ve added a new triple kink is there anything I should know before I tackle it?

Number one thing is look at the end of the rail. That is huge for me on kink rails. Also, more weight downhill than you think because, otherwise, the flat part will kick you on your back foot and cause you to slip out.

They’re super fun once you get the feeling right

One thing that helped my confidence on them was consciously opening the face of my front foot because I was always scared of digging in and falling forward. You don't really have to worry about that it seems to kind of happen automatically but the confidence is half the battle

This the ribbing on them makes it so much more enjoyable for you or your partner

I swear half your posts are about being molested by pivots, are you alright?

Short answer No. Long answer is I have PTSD and Anxiety do to my pivots even when I’m skiing a ski without my pivots there still there. They’re everywhere just like the snipers grandpa sees everytime he’s near a tree
